Author identification with ORCID In-Person
An ORCID iD (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a unique and permanent identifier - a 16-digit number - for researchers. It distinguishes you from other researchers and connects you with your research publications and professional activities. An ORCID iD is free, easy to get and stays with you throughout your academic career. Your ORCID iD is connected to a personal webpage on which your research output can be automatically updated. This workshop explains in a practical way what ORCID is and how you can use your ORCID-iD to increase your visibility as a researcher and make sure that you get recognition for your work.
