DCC Workshop: Introduction to Git In-Person
In this workshop we will teach the basics of Git and using a code versioning platfiorm such as the GitHub. We will cover the following topics:
- What is version control?
- Basic git commands
- Creating a git repository and a project
- Working with branches
- Creating an issue
- Understanding errors
For this workshop you need to bring your laptop. Before the workshop you need to install Git on your machine and have an account on GitHub.
